The Nigeria Customs Service(NCS) has issued a statement through its public relations officer, Mr. Joseph Attah that it had shortlisted a total of 162,399 candidates out the total 828,333 candidates that applied for its recruitment exercise that started in 2019.

He made this known in a statement issued on Monday, he stated in the statement that the candidates were selected after a painstaking process and that the selection was made without bias and favoritism even though many internet fraudsters tried hacking their systems so that the selection process can be discredited.

He also said that the selected candidates will be notified through their emails and telephone numbers as pertaining to the information of their aptitude test venue, date and time and they should print out the notification from their email address and come with it and a means of identification on the specified date of the aptitude test to the venue.

The percentage of candidates selected for the aptitude test is 19.6 percent of the total number of persons that applied for the recruitment, and looking at the nature of our massive borders and their porosity, we can only say the number selected should have been more, well congratulations to those selected.
